Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station to Gangtok

  Our representative will be there to receive you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport and assist you with your transfer to Gangtok. Situated at an altitude of 1670 meters (5480 feet), Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, offering everything from tranquility to adventure, along with monasteries, mystic rituals, and vibrant festivals. It is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, with varieties of rhododendrons, orchids, and butterflies. The drive is approximately 120 kilometers and takes around 4 hours. Check-in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, explore MG Road (Mall) or the local shopping center. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day : 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, located 40 kilometers and a 2-hour drive from Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake sits at an elevation of 3753 meters (12310 feet) and is known for its oval shape and depth of 50 feet. It remains covered in snow for most of the year and is home to Brahminy ducks and migratory birds. Nearby is Baba Mandir, a sacred site for many. After the excursion, return to Gangtok, with the evening free to explore MG Road (Mall) or local markets. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  (Note: In case of bad weather conditions, landslides, or political movements, Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir may be closed.)

• Day : 3 Gangtok Local Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling

  After breakfast, visit the Flower Show, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays), Dro-Dul Chorten, Bakthang Falls, and Gunjan Monastery. After lunch, transfer to Darjeeling, a drive of approximately 110 kilometers (4 hours). At an altitude of 2123 meters (7001 feet), Darjeeling is known for its breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens, and spectacular views of Mount Everest. It is also home to the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening, explore the Mall Area or Chowk Bazaar. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day : 4 Darjeeling Sunrise from Tiger Hill & Local Sightseeing

  Early morning (around 3:45 AM), drive to Tiger Hill (8000 feet / 2440 meters) through oak and magnolia forests to witness the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. Afterward, enjoy a half-day city tour, including the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays), and the Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day : 5 Transfer to NJP / Bagdogra

  After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), a drive of approximately 80 kilometers (3 hours). It is advisable to start early and avoid rushing. End your journey and proceed with your onward travel.
